Mischa Barton’s Complicated Life
If you are puzzled with the heading of this blog post, then you must not. Coz it’s true. The O.C. star Mischa Barton who had previously told media she trusts her dogs more than humans, is now being rumored to be in love.
Gosh! I donno what’s wrong with these celebrities? Why do they give such statements that contradict their doings?

Talking over this, one of her close friend said, “They have been together for over a month now. They met in New York not long after Mischa was released from hospital. Leo is out there trying to make it as an actor, so they move in similar circles. He’s been an extremely positive influence on her”.
Barton was previously in a relationship with James Regan. But she broke up with him before her disappointing summer.
I hope you all might remember that few months back, Barton was in a psychiatric ward. Talking over her stay in the ward, she said, “I am so fine now. Really, it was blown out of proportion. It is kind of silly now to be talking about it because I am so fine now, but it was just a really bad time for me.”

The OC’s Eric Balfour Lands Role on The Beautiful Life
Fans of The OC hoping for an Adam Brody and Rachel Bilson reunion will need to keep waiting.
But this might satisfy their craving for a reminder of the formerly great Fox series: Eric Balfour, who played Theresa’s boyfriend on The OC, has landed a recurring role in The Beautiful Life, The CW series that debuts tomorrow night and co-stars Mischa Barton.
Balfour will portray Eric, a charming rival to Elle Macpherson’s Claudia. He works for a competing modeling agency.
Aside from The OC, Balfour has appeared on 24 and The West Wing.
My fav. Star Ryan Atwood on ‘The OC’
Although it has been a long time since ‘The OC episodes‘ cancellation (series went off air in February, 2007) but still it’s there in fans’ hearts. Throughout its four seasons’ long run, ‘The OC’ entertained us to its fullest and all the episodes of all seasons were awesome!
When Fox network decided to shut the series down, fans’ reviews were very negative, no one ever wanted their favorite show to get cancelled, but it happened, The OC went away and we all were just left to comply with their, network and creators’, decision. When Fox network decided to let ‘The OC’ go officially, rumors were that ‘The CW’ might pick it up. But nothing happened and The OC never returned with fifth season.
Well, while talking about the cast of ‘The OC‘, the first name which comes to my mind is of Ryan Atwood, the character was stylishly performed by Benjamin McKenzie. Don’t know whether you’re aware about it or not but it’s true that when the character of Ryan was developed, Benjamin was not the first name which came to everyone’s mind. Instead, it was of Chad Michael Murray’s but he (Chad) didn’t become a part of ‘The OC’ because of his involvements with ‘One Tree Hill’. Ultimately, it was Benjamin who got the role.
Of course, he was one of the central characters of the series. Childhood experiences, being physically abused by his father and the boyfriends of his mother, made him a hard man and he always found it tough to trust anyone. All this led him to be a defensive buddy. Somewhere in his rigid personality was hidden a nice and sweet guy, always ready to help others. We saw that he’s fond of peaches and also played soccer during his second year of high school.It was Cohen family which helped Ryan to become a part of luxurious lifestyle and gave him a second chance to chase his dreams and goals in life. Professionally, Ryan was an architect.
Throughout the all seasons of ‘The OC‘, Ryan Atwood kept on improving himself and it was what made us to be crazy for him… a man with very appealing eyes!
The OC TV Show Summary
The first new FOX network series of the 2003-2004 season, The O.C. was co-produced and co-created by McG, director of the Charlie’s Angels theatrical films, and Josh Schwartz, a 26-year-old University of Southern California graduate, upon whose academic research the series was based.
The titular initials stood for “Orange County,” as in California. A troubled and troublesome teenager from a rough neighborhood and an unhappy home environment, Ryan Atwood (Benjamin McKenzie) was on the verge of becoming a full-time lawbreaker when he was taken under the wing of public defender Sandy Cohen (Peter Gallagher). Much to the dismay of his social-climbing, ex-beauty queen wife Kirsten (Kelly Rowan), Sandy invited Ryan to live with his family in the high-class Orange County community of Newport Beach.
Also participating the series’ Beverly Hills 90210-like plot convolutions were Adam Brody as the Cohen’s intellectual-loner son Seth; Mischa Barton as gorgeous girl-next-door Marissa Cooper (one of the few “nice” characters amongst the spoiled and narcissistic teen population of Newport Beach); and Tate Donovan as Marissa’s rich father, Jimmy. Jumping the gun on the standard September startup date, The O.C. premiered August 5, 2003.
The OC Actress Mischa Barton Back to Work on ‘The Beautiful Life’
Mischa Barton is ready to bounce back to work after a round of controversial reports surrounding her recent stint at the Los Angeles Ceders-Sinai Medical Center — the latest of which is that the former O.C.
actress checked in for suicidal behavior.
“She tried to kill herself,” an insider source told Eonline.com, claiming that the suicide attempt might be linked to higher ups at the CW looking to axe her role on the new series The Beautiful Life, where Barton is set to play a pill-popping supermodel.
Barton’s rep has disproved the rumors, asserting that “the network and studio have been supportive of Mischa’s casting and subsequent recovery all along.”
Now that Barton is back on the set of The Beautiful Life, her co-stars have nothing but kind words for the troubled actress.
“We had our first read-through [Wednesday] and we’re all so very excited to have her back. She’s such a great girl,” Beautiful Life co-star Sara Paxton said at Model Home Project’s pre-launch celebration for The Power of WE at The Gates in New York on Wednesday.
Cast member Ben Hollingsworth, on the other hand, admits the cast was just as much in the dark about the reason behind Barton’s hospitalization as anyone else. However, he believes that Barton’s new role may help her deal with everything that’s going on in her life.
“We were all worried about her. We didn’t really know what was going on, but she’s looking great…She’s gone through it more than anyone in the cast and her character in the show is very intertwined into that lifestyle. I think she’s going to be able to draw on a lot of real-life experiences that she’s had to go through with paparazzi, rumors, and invasion of privacy and all that comes in the public eye,” he said.
The Beautiful Life premieres September 16 on The CW.
