Mischa Barton’s mother Nuala is of Irish descent and is a photographer and his English father Paul Marsden Barton is a foreign exchange broker. She has two siblings; both are sisters namely Hania Barton and Zoe Barton. When she was just five years old, Mischa moved to New York City. In 2004, she earned her graduation from the Professional Children’s School. In 2006, she joined Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts.
She made her Off- Broadway debut, when she was eight years old, by appearing on the premiere of ‘Slavs!’. She also performed a leading role on the James Lapine’s ‘Twelve Dreams’. She made her movie debut with Lawn Dogs and her other movie appearances are on ‘The Sixth Sense’, ‘Notting Hill’, ‘St Trinians’, and ‘Closing the Ring’.
Mischa Barton was first seen on TV in 1996 in the soap opera ‘All My Children’ portraying Lily Montgomery. She also appeared in the modern remake of ‘Bonnie and Clyde’. She appeared as a guest star on ‘Once and Again’ and also on an episode of Fastlane, Fox series. She also made appearance on some music videos such as James Blunt’s ‘Goodbye My Lover’ and Enrique Iglesias’ music video ‘Addicted’.
